Enrollment procedures for 10th through 12th Grade Students |

Procedures for enrollment for 10th through 12th grade students new to the San Mateo Union High School District. Upon providing proof of residency (explained below) and completing the enrollment process, you will receive a Permit to Register which is also required should you wish to participate in the Districts Open Enrollment (Intra-District Transfer) Program. The Intra-District policy, within certain guidelines, allows a family to request enrollment for their student at a District high school other than their assigned school of attendance. The Permit to Register would need to accompany the transfer request. However, as stated above, in order to participate in the transfer process , you must first officially enroll in the District and demonstrate proof of residence. IF YOUR STUDENT IS COMING FROM A PUBLIC SCHOOL NOT LOCATED IN THE SAN MATEO HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT OR IS A STUDENT COMING FROM A PRIVATE SCHOOL, PLEASE BRING THE ABOVE PROOFS OF RESIDENCY AND THE FOLLOWING TO ANY ENROLLMENT CENTER IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
PROOF OF RESIDENCE WILL BE HANDLED AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE AFTER MARCH 9, 2007, located at 640 N. Delaware Street, San Mateo. Hours after March 9, 2007, will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
